Saturday, (22/9/2018) PT. Seng Fong Moulding Perkasa held socialization of Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (HIV-Aids) for local communities in Desa Tunggorono. This event was collaboration between PT. Seng Fong Moulding Perkasa and Health Center of Jabon District. It was held in the Tunggorono’s hall with 36 participants from local communities (teenagers & adults). This event was annual program as a concern & support from company to local communities about the importance to understanding HIV – Aids. The topic of the socialization was about how to prevent, transmit & detect HIV-Aids and STDs (Sexually Transmitted Disease).
Mrs. Novi as a speaker from health center of Jabon District, was presenting about definition, types of STDs, correlation between HIV-Aids and STDs and how was HIV-Aids transmitted & prevented. Mrs. Novi also said that participants had to protect themselves from HIV-Aids because it could be attack anyone. Therefore, she suggested participants to behave safely and healthily.
From this socialization, company hopes that Tunggorono’s societies can increase their awareness and health to reduce total of HIV-Aids Cases in Jombang, eliminate negative stigma about communities whom HIV-Aids are detected and participants consciously do VCT (Voluntary, Consulting & Testing) in health center.
