At the end of September 2019, Indonesia experienced two major tragedies that made every people so grife.
Monday, September 23, 2019 protesters led to riots and caused destruction in Wamena. Some buildings and facilities were burned down. 33 people died in the incident and 8,200 people were displaced in several places. This number does not include the thousands of residents who left Wamena. This difficulty paralyzes the economic activities of the people, making it difficult for residents to get their needs.
Thursday, September 26, 2019 An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.5 followed by 821 aftershocks until Tuesday, October 1, 2019 struck Maluku, Ambon and surrounding areas. Refugees numbered 244,780 people, while data collection on house damage was still being carried out.
To help the wamena tragedy and the Ambon earthquake, PT Seng Fong Molding Perkasa with Union of Employees held a fundraising that began on 4 – 9 October 2019. Donations collected from all employees and companies collected amounted to Rp 44,060,000. Hoping that the donations collected can alleviate the suffering of those who have been struck by the disaster. Condolences to the victims, hopefully the families left behind are still fortified, always strong and still enthusiastic.
