Kroya Runners (the name of PT. Seng Fong Molding Perkasa and PT. Kroya Wood Estetika runners’ team) for second time took part in an adventure run. For this time in the Secret Zoo Adventure Run 10K held by Jatim Park 2 in collaboration with Tripleasport Management. Kroya Runners team sent 76 people and the team arrived at the event venue at about 4.30 a.m. on Sunday, November 25, 2018.
The event which was held for the third time was joined by participants of 3,300 along with Color Fun Run 7K. Moreover, those who became participants were from various regions such as Surabaya, Jombang and other regions. In addition to the increasing number, what makes this event different from before was that this event included the adventure running as part of the concept. Color Fun Run only took 7 kilometers, but Secret Zoo Adventure Run took 10 kilometers distance.
The departure of this event was directly carried out by the Senior Staff Jatim Park Group Holding Company, Rony Sendjojo, Sunday (11/25) at the Jawa Timur Park 2 yard with first departures at 6.15 a.m. for adventure run 10K and 6.30 a.m. for Color Fun 7K. The route passed Jl Raya Oro-Oro Ombo, towards Jalur Lintas Barat (Jalibar). Then cross the Jalibar forests, Jl Abdul Gani Atas, Jl Kartika and finish in Jatim Park 2.
For this adventure run, the route that was passed was very challenging from the running event that the Kroya Team had previously participated in, because the first 5 kilometer incline was very tiring, also the rainy season at the end of this year had made the land lanes in Jalibar forests become wet and slippery. But as a whole, participants can enjoy this running event because the route passed is the rural area, to the cool hills of Batu city which certainly gives a distinct impression for the participants.
After all the runners reached the Finish line, the Kroya Team managed to attract the attention of other runners and visitors of Jatim Park 2 by dancing together following the music in front of the Color Run 7k stage while taking part in the draw held by the committee.
PT. Seng Fong Moulding Perkasa gave reward to each male and female 2,500,000 for the first runners who reach the finish line. Beside of the aim to build teamwork and make a competitive spirit among employees, participation of SF Resources Group in the Secret Zoo Adventure Run 10K 2018, indirectly become a promotional of local brand, named Kroya.
